The Voice was created by John de Mol who has created and/or produced a string of popular game and reality TV shows around the world including Big Brother, Deal or No Deal and Fear Factor. The show is split into three sections: blind auditions, followed by head to head battle rounds and finally live performance shows where the public vote decides The Voice winners.

Also known as Javier Colón, from Hartford, Connecticut, was a member of EmcQ and The Derek Trucks Band before going solo as Javier, signed to Capitol Records. Javier went independent with his own label in 2006 before winning the first series of The Voice USA.
Season 2	2012	Jermaine Paul	1979	Blake Shelton	Adam Levine, Cee Lo Green, Christina Aguilera.	Jermaine Paul was co-nominated at the 48th Grammy Awards for Best R&B Performance in a collaborative work with Alicia Keys. He covered I Believe I Can Fly to win The Voice which reached number 83 on the US Billboard Hot 100.
Season 3	2012	Cassadee Pope	1989	Blake Shelton	Adam Levine, Cee Lo Green, Christina Aguilera.	Cassadee Blake Pope from West Palm Beach, Florida was lead singer of pop and rock band Hey Monday. After going solo in 2012 she was the first female winner of The Voice USA. Her debut country album *Frame by Frame* in 2013 debuted at number 9 on the Billboard 200 and number 1 on the Top Country Albums charts – which included the hit single *Wasting All These Tears*.
Season 4	2013	Danielle Bradbery	1996	Blake Shelton	Adam Levine, Shakira, Usher.	Danielle Simone Bradbery, from Cypress, Texas was the youngest contestant to win The Voice USA. She sings country and released her debut album on 25 November 2013 featuring the single *The Heart of Dixie* which reached number 12 on the US Country Airplay Billboard and 58 in the US Billboard Hot 100.
Season 5	2013	Tessanne Chin	1985	Adam Levine	Blake Shelton, Cee Lo Green, Christina Aguilera.	Tessanne Chin has supported Peabo Bryso, Patti Labelleand Gladys Knight. She toured with Jimmy Cliff for several years and her older sister is Tami Chynn.
Season 6	2014	Josh Kaufman	1976	Usher	Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Shakira.	Josh Kaufman is an American singer-songwriter based in Indianapolis, Indiana. He won with the song *Set Fire To The Rain. Josh grew up in Florida and sang in an elite choir. Josh is now a member of The New Etiquette* rock/soul band.
Season 7	2014	Craig Wayne Boyd	1978	Blake Shelton	Adam Levine, Usher, Gwen Stefani.	Craig Boyd American country and country rock singer and songwriter. Also known as C-W-B. Born in Mesquite, Texas, USA. Biggest success to date is his single *My Baby’s Got A Smile On Her Face* which debuted at number 1 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs.

Sawyer Fredericks is an American born contemporary folk singer born in Newtown, Connecticut, USA. Sawyer, just 16 when he won the show, broke The Voice records with 14 songs in the iTunes Top 200 Singles Chart during one week with sales approaching one million singles during his time on the show.
Season 9	2015	Jordan Smith	1993	Adam Levine	Pharrell Williams, Gwen Stefani, Blake Shelton.	Jordan Smith is a contemporary Christian and gospel singer born in Whitley County, Kentucky. Jordan Reached number 1 on the iTunes Store pop songs list during the season and set new Billboard charts sales marks.

Alisan Porter is an American rock, pop and country singer, actress and stage performer born in Worcester, Massachusetts, USA. As a child actor she appeared in Stella, Parenthood and I Love You to Death and played the lead in the film Curly Sue in 1991. As an adult she played in musical theater on Broadway in The Ten Commandments The Musical and released a solo album in 2009.

He was a semi-finalist on American Idol in 2007 and is the son of American singer Roy Head. Darlin’ Don’t Go was his winning song. He signed for Wildcatter Records in 2018.
Season 12	2017	Chris Blue	1990	Alicia Keys	Adam Levine, Gwen Stefani, Blake Shelton.	Chris Blue is a R&B, soul, pop and gospel singer born in Glendale, Arizona. He’s signed to Republic Records.
Season 13	2017	Chloe Kohanski	1993	Blake Shelton	Adam Levine, Alicia Keys, Miley Cyrus.	Chloe Kohanski aka Chloe MK is an American singer-songwriter born in Nashville, Tennessee and currently signed to Republic Records. As Chloe MK she released her debut single To Be Young in 2019.
Season 14	2018	Brynn Cartelli	2003	Kelly Clarkson	Adam Levine, Alicia Keys, Blake Shelton.	Brynn Cartelli, born in Longmeadow, Massachusetts, is the youngest ever winner of the The Voice aged 15. She’s a signer, piano and guitar player. She released her debut single Walk My Way in 2018 which reached number 3 in the digital charts.
Season 15	2018	Chevel Shepherd	2002	Kelly Clarkson	Adam Levine, Jennifer Hudson, Blake Shelton.	Chevel Shepherd is an American singer born in Farmington, New Mexico. She signed to Republic in 2018 and released Broken Hearts which reached number 24 in the US Country charts.
Season 16	2019	Madelyn “Maelyn” Jarmon	1992	John Legend	Adam Levine, Kelly Clarkson, Blake Shelton.	Maelyn Jarmon is an American singer born in Frisco, Texas. She signed to Republic Records and in 2019 released Wait for You which reached number 24 in the US digital charts. She has since released five more songs the highest reaching number 6 in the US digital charts.
Season 17	2019	Jake Hoot	1988	Kelly Clarkson	Adam Levine, Kelly Clarkson, Blake Shelton.	Jake Hoot is an American country singer born in Corpus Christi, Texas. For his blind audition he performed When It Rains It Pours by Luke Combs and only Kelly Clarkson turned her chair and he won the Season 17 Finale with his own original song Better Off Without You. which peaked at 36 on the US Billboard Hot Country Charts.
Season 18	2020	Todd Tilghman	1978	Blake Shelton	Adam Levine, Kelly Clarkson, Blake Shelton.	Todd Tilghman is an American pastor singer, born in Meridian, Mississippi. Todd performed I Can Only Imagine by MercyMe to win the 18th Season and become the oldest winner of the US The Voice series aged 42. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic performances (apart from the finale) were recorded aware from the studio.
Season 19	2020	Carter Rubin	2006	Gwen Stefani	John Legend, Gwen Stefani, Kelly Clarkson, Blake Shelton.	The COVID-19 pandemic continued so there was no studio or studio audience. All performances where released on You Tube Music instead of iTunes. Carter Rubin became the youngest male winner of The Voice aged 14.
Season 20	2021	Cam Anthony	2001	Blake Shelton	John Legend, Nick Jonas, Kelly Clarkson, Blake Shelton, Kelsea Ballerini (guest).	Camren Anthony Sherman is an American singer from Philadelphia, Pennysylvania who had pre-teen viral success with YouTube videos and won Showtime at the Apollo before winning The American The Voice 20th Season. Cam auditioned Lay Me Down by Sam Smith and went on to be the first winner that had a coach blocked in the blind audition.
.Season 21	2021	Girl Named Tom	2000, 1998, 1995	Kelly Clarkson	John Legend, Ariana Grande, Kelly Clarkson, Blake Shelton.	Girl Named Tom is an American folk trio comprising Caleb (1995), Joshua (1998) and Bekah Liechty (2000). They were the first trio on the American version of The Voice and the first trio to win The Voice). They auditioned with Helplessly Hoping by Crosby, Stills Nash & Young, and all four coaches turned their chairs. Girl Named Tom performed One More Christmas in The Voice Season 22 Finale which reached number one on the iTunes charts.
Season 22	2022	Bryce Leatherwood	2000	Blake Shelton	John Legend, Gwen Stefani, Camila Cabello, Blake Shelton.	Bryce Leatherwood is an American country singer from Woodstock, Georgia. He is the first winner to be a Wildcard artist in the live playoffs. Bryce won US$100,000 and a record deal with Republic Records, owned by Universal Music Group.
Season 23	2023	Gina Miles	2003	Niall Horan	Kelly Clarkson, Chance the Rapper, Niall Horan, Blake Shelton.	Gina Miles is an American pop singer-songwriter from Paxton, Illinois. She sung Nothing Compares 2 U by Sinéad O’Connor which won her the final, US$100,000 and a record deal with Republic Records, owned by Universal Music Group. Her 2024 release Wicked Game peaked at 28 in the International iTunes Chart.
Season 24	2023	Huntley	1990	Niall Horan	John Legend, Gwen Stefani, Niall Horan, Reba McEntire, Dan + Shay (guest).	Michael Huntley is an American blues rock singer-songwriter from Spring Hill, Florida. He sung She Talks to Angels by Black Crowes which turned all four chairs then bought his daughter Stella on stage to pick this coach.
Season 25	2024	Asher HaVon	1991	Reba McEntire	John Legend, Dan + Shay, Chance the Rapper, Reba McEntire	Asher HaVon is an American soul singer born and lives in Selma, Arizona. HaVon is the first openly LGBTQ winner. He won US$100,000 and a record deal with Republic Records, owned by Universal Music Group which was revoked in May 2024.
